Michelle Oliver, Money Guru, Life Insurance Advocate, and President of the Oliver Financial Group, has over 18 years in the financial, insurance and marketing industry.  Michelle started her financial career at Life of Virginia.  Her other financial jobs were at Wachovia Bank and Securities and GE Financial now Genworth Financial.  All of her jobs have groomed her to her position now at the Oliver Financial Group. 

She is licensed in life and health, Series 6 and 63, through Sunset Financial Services, Inc.   She manages several agents and works with many insurance companies.  Michelle Oliver speaks all over the U.S. to women about women and finances and empowerment issues, and is passionate about teaching and training financial literacy.  She is a member of General Agent Management Association (GAMA), National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors (NAIFA) and Women in Insurance and Financial Services (WIFS). She is active in her community helping with Parent Teachers Association and assist as an Advisory Council member of the Girl Scout Commonwealth Council Alumnae Association.

Michelle has been quoted in several national print and online magazines.  Some magazines to note are, Bankrate.com, Blackenterprise (March 06, August 08, January 09, April 09), Essence (May 06 and March 08, March 09), and Heart and Soul (May 07) and several local and regional radio shows and newspapers.  She has written articles on money management and life insurance.  She also is the founder and president of the “Kid$ Money College”, where she and individuals teach children K-12, all about money.  This program is the first of its kind to educate children the basics to the advanced fundamentals of money and more.  This program has been taught to Kindergarten to High School students at Churches, High Schools, Summer Camps and after-school programs.
