The Kid$ Money College is a program developed to educate children and their parents on savings, spending, investing, insurance, and how to run a business through interactive lessons. Children learn best early. We, at the Oliver Financial Group, have put together one of the first Kindergarten - 12th grade programs designed to enhance and start to teach the beginning of being Financially Savvy for years to come.
Our lesson plans will teach students about money. Why did people invent money? What is bartering and how did it evolve? What is a budget and how it works. We teach how to save and that money does not grow on trees. There are discussions about investing and how your money grows over time. Getting good grades can get you scholarships that will save money for parents. We teach check writing skills and how to own and run your own business. These classes are interactive so the student will not know they are learning.
Our financial literacy for children of today is very low and starting early will teach the child and their parent good habits that will last a lifetime. The Kids’ Money College, “where money is the beginning not the ending.”

Children Organizations
Daycares and Child Development Centers can use this program as a part of their summer enrichment for summer camp. The students will be broken into two groups. K-2 and 3-5. Each group will get age appropriate materials to learn through interactive lessons.

Elementary, Middle, and High Schools
Schools can use this program in their math program, after-school program and/or as a part of a new personal finance program. Each grade level will get appropriate materials and learn through interactive lessons.
Classrooms Setting
We will come into a classroom setting and work for 1 hour with up to 25 children and give an interactive lesson on personal finance. This will help the teacher teach a particular subject area that either might be hard to convey to students or it may assist the students with more learning.
